On March 16, 2021, Yuriy Petrushenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management of SSU took part in the work of Working Group 2 “Economic Integration and Coordination with EU Policies” civil society of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union.
The working meeting was devoted to environmental priorities for cooperation between Ukrainian and European business in the coming years. In particular, it addressed the following issues:

EU Green Course and CBAM.

The second nationally determined contribution to the Paris Agreements.

Revision of the Association Agreement on Environment and Climate.
-
Greening the economy to achieve sustainable development goals.
After discussing these issues, it was decided to send a note to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the need and mechanisms to stimulate environmentally friendly business in Ukraine. Issues of greening of production and public involvement in monitoring compliance with environmental standards Petrushenko Yu.M. are organized within the framework of the European Commission project “Jean Monnet Chair in EU Economic Policies and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR).
