Entrepreneur’s Day

On September 6, Ukraine celebrated Entrepreneur’s Day – a holiday of people who do not wait for change, but create it themselves.

The Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, headed by the Oleksandr Kubatko, held a professional event for students of the specialty “Entrepreneurship and Trade” and the specialty “Management” of the VSP IFC of SumDU. Young entrepreneurs joined the conversation, namely: SumDU student of the specialty “Entrepreneurship” Anastasia SYTNYK and SumDU student of the specialty “Economics” Mykhailo RADKO, who have already taken the first steps in their own business. Mykhailo RADKO shared his own experience of starting a business, and Anastasia SYTNYK spoke about the importance of perseverance, networking and continuous learning in one’s own business.

They talked about how modern entrepreneurship requires flexibility, readiness for change, digital technologies, the ability to see opportunities and not be afraid to take the first steps. After all, a successful business does not begin with ideal conditions, but with an idea, the desire to implement it, and the willingness to learn from one’s own experience.

Oleksandr KUBATKO congratulated the students on the holiday and emphasized that Ukraine needs new ideas, energy, and professionalism from young people. You shouldn’t wait for the perfect moment — it’s important to start, test your ideas, develop, and move forward.

Let student knowledge become the basis for future business projects, and bold ideas become successful businesses!

We thank the organizers of the meeting, Tatyana OCHKOVA and Lydia SKOROKHODOVA, for the warm welcome and creative atmosphere.
