On June 17, 2025, a round table titled “EU Innovation System and Lessons for Ukraine” was held, bringing together first-year master’s students of the specialty 076 Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities (group PTL.m–41) and 051 Economics (group E.mdn–41p), along with faculty members of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University. A total of 22 participants took part in the event.
The round table served as the final event for the “Business and Innovation” course. At the beginning of the event, the results of the EU_STRENGHTS project implementation were presented. During the discussion, participants shared their views on the functioning of the innovation ecosystem and analysed current trends in the development of innovation activities in the EU and Ukraine in the context of digital transformation. Special attention was given to the prospects of implementing best European practices for promoting and supporting innovation in the Ukrainian context.
The event was organised within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair project “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” (101175767—EU_STRENGHTS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), funded by the European Union.
