DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL: RESEARCH INTERNSHIP WITHIN THE UKRAINE-TWINNING PARTNERSHIP

Associate Professor Inna Koblianska, representing the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at Sumy State University, has commenced a one-month research internship at the University of Liverpool (United Kingdom), hosted by the School of Environmental Sciences, Geography and Planning.

The internship is carried out under the academic supervision of Dr. Olivier Sykes, a prominent scholar in the field of urban, regional, and spatial planning.

During the visit, Dr. Koblianska presented the results of the ongoing research project “Fundamentals of Sustainable and Inclusive Regional Spatial Development for Post-War Reconstruction in the Context of Digital Transformation”(No. 0125U001620, 2025–2027), funded by the State Budget of Ukraine. In addition, other key research directions of the department were introduced.

The presentation generated considerable interest and received positive feedback and support from colleagues at the University of Liverpool.

This research visit is taking place within the framework of the Ukraine-Twinning initiative, as part of the strategic partnership between Sumy State University and the University of Liverpool.
