On February 27, Sumy State University and Talanlegprom LLC officially confirmed their intentions for cooperation by signing a Memorandum, which opens up new opportunities for practice-oriented training of students and the implementation of scientific innovations in real production.
Representatives of key university departments and the management of the enterprise took part in the discussion of the cooperation roadmap.
The meeting was attended by the head of the department, Oleksandr KUBATKO, from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (DEBA).
The Memorandum outlines the main directions, principles and formats of interaction between the university and the enterprise in training specialists for light industry and related industries.
The main goal of cooperation is to build a sustainable and effective partnership, which provides for:
- coordination of educational programs with the real needs of the labor market and production;
- development of students’ practical competencies;
- involvement of the university’s scientific potential in solving applied problems of the enterprise;
- promoting graduate employment.
Joint formation and updating of educational programs, implementation of projects and training of highly qualified specialists will become the basis of cooperation.
At the initiative of Talanlegprom LLC, students of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (bachelor’s degrees in Entrepreneurship and Economics), as well as students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering College were invited to the meeting.
