Участь у молодіжному обміні «The fibers of vision»

Post-graduate student of the Department of Economics and Business Administration SSU Liudmyla Kulyk from 1st to April 9th 2014 took part in a youth exchange «The fibers of vision» in Kobuleti, Georgia. The project what took place in the framework of the European Commission’s “Youth in Action” program was attended by over 45 participants from 10 countries: Ukraine, Italy, Estonia , Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, Moldova and Slovenia.

Project Organizer – Youth Association «Millennium», which is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization the mission of which is the development of non-formal education, democracy, human rights, the development of solidarity and tolerance among young people and promotion of a unified Europe without prejudices.

The study course was built on the principles of non-formal education, intercultural learning with use of case studies, business games and communication, as well as aimed at producing practical results. During 10 days in Georgia project participants were given the opportunity to exchange views and to debate on a common vision of European citizenship and to express themselves, their ideas with graffiti, which was drawn at a predetermined location in Georgia. This graffiti carries a message of equality between people, anti-discrimination, active citizenship and the importance of every person in this world, but also contributes to the development of European citizenship and to promotion of Europe in general. Young people have the opportunity to meet with graffiti artists to exchange information on the development of young people in each of the participating countries to deepen their knowledge about Europe and Georgia.

In addition, youth exchange participants had the opportunity to learn about the traditions, culture and cuisine of different countries, explore the outstanding cities of Georgia – Batumi and Kutaisi.
