The First Graduation of the Masters of English-Speaking Project in the Specialty “Economics of Environment and Natural Resources”

For the first time at the Department of Economics and BA were successfully defended master’s theses of students who studied in English at specialty “Economics of Environment and Natural Resources.”

Master students showed an excellent level of training, actively defended their research and justified the possibility of introducing their developments into production. Studies of graduates are remarked with actuality, they are focused on solving today’s global and regional problems of the environmental economics for various countries.

With the successful defense of diploma papers students were welcomed by Dr.E., professor, head of Department of Economics and Business Administration L.G. Melnyk, who noted the high level of master research works.

After finishing master studies graduates receive a state standard diploma on obtaining higher education in “Economics of Environment and Natural Resources”, in which will be noted that the study was conducted in English.

Taking into account the potential and the results of graduates’ employment, it is worth noting that despite the reduction in budget places in economic specialties the amount of state-guaranteed order for the specialty “Economics of Environment and Natural Resources” increased to 14 seats in 2013.
