May 21 on the basis of the Department of Economics and Management of KhNU named after V.N. Karazin it was organized a round table: “Disruptive technologies as a basis for increasing the reputational capabilities of the country, organization, and individual.” Taking into account the martial law, the participants joined the discussions in the online mode. The first report was presented by the head of the EU department Jean Monnet, Doctor of Economics, professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA) of Sumy State University Leonid Melnyk. He spoke in detail about the directions and key features of modern industrial revolutions and the world’s phase transition to a new civilizational model of management, a new formation of information production and consumption.
Undergraduate and graduate students of educational programs: public management and administration, organization management and business management processes joined the event. During the meeting, students asked the speaker questions and expressed many different opinions.
The participants of the round table determined that:
- Disruptive technologies have great potential to enhance the reputational capabilities of a country, organization, and individual. They create new opportunities for innovation, development and competitiveness;
- the introduction of disruptive technologies can positively influence the perception of a country or organization as cutting edge and leading in its field. This helps to increase the reputation and attract investments and talented specialists;
- disruptive technologies can also change the way an organization or individual is seen and perceived. Innovative achievements produce a positive impact on the image and reputation, creating the image of an advanced leader and technological innovator;
- in order to achieve success in the use of disruptive technologies, it is necessary to ensure proper development and infrastructure, a favorable innovation environment and state support. This includes financial support, stimulation of research and development, promotion of partnerships and collaborations;
- it is also important to consider the ethical aspects of using disruptive technologies. It is necessary to adhere to the principles of responsible innovation, ensure safety, privacy and environmental protection.
