Participation at the international scientific conference “Energy efficiency of economy: current and future problems”

On October 12-13 the teachers Economics and Business Administration Department – Professor Irina Sotnyk and doctoral student Kubatko Oleksandr took part at the International Scientific Conference “Energy efficiency of economy: current and future problems ” held by Poltava National Technical University (PolNTU).

SSU was a coorganizer of conference according to the cooperation agreement between PolNTU and SSU. The conference brought together about 140 participants from different countries: Saudi Arabia, China, Azerbaijan, Turkey, France, Latvia, the United States and others.

It was discussed on conference urgent issues of energy efficiency of Ukraine and other national economies, environmental, political and social issues related to ensuring energy security were presented. On the first day of the conference the participants from SSU presented by 2 reports “Problems of economically justified tariffs for heating in Sumy region” (Iryna Sotnyk)and “Energy security of the national economy in conditions of climate and resource fluctuations” (Oleksandr Kubatko) both reports were prepared in framework of the grant of the President of Ukraine number F66 / 12 689 “Formation of motivational mechanisms of dematerialization changes and energy efficiency of the national economy.” Also under Jean Monnet program”Using best EU practices for sustainable economy forming in Ukraine” 553185-EPP-1-2014-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) it was made a report “Green” economy and the achievement of the third industrial revolution “( Oleksandr Kubatko, Leonid Melnyk)
