Jean Monnet module lectures for the students in Poltava

As a part of cooperation agreement between Sumy State University and Poltava National University named after Yuri Kondratyuk (PolNTU) and in the framework of the Jean Monnet module “EU trade opportunities and challenges for Ukraine” (573581-EPP-1-2016-1-UAEPPJMO-MODULE) Ph.D., Assoc. Professor of Economics and business-administration department Kubatko Oleksandr on October 11-13 has lectured for the students of economic specialties at PolNTU on discipline «Basics of European economy and EU trade policy».

In addition to traditional lectures Oleksandr Kubatko has held an interactive training for students of PolNTU on European economic geography. After a series of lectures students had opportunity to try their talents at debating activities on issues of EU-Ukraine cooperation. The debates were held according to the political debates of Karl Popper format and have promoted development of critical thinking of students.

Within this Jean Monnet project it is expected also to develop a distance (e-learning) course «Basics of European economy and EU trade policy” for receiving academic credits by the students of Poltava National Technical University and other cooperation universities.
