At the end of June, Head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at Sumy State University, Director of the Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid Melnyk participated in the international scientific conference “Development of Technological and Economic Instruments for Sustainable Future”. The conference discussed the formation of sustainable development directions and Industry 4.0.
The conference was held in the International Science Center near Oxford. The participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the laboratories, where practical issues are solved on which the development of the III and IV industrial revolution depends.
Prof. Leonid Melnyk participated in the international workshop at a business school. The scientist from Sumy visited Winston Churchill’s family estate, Blenheim Palace, near Oxford. He was also very fortunate to enjoy 2018 Open Days in Oxford colleges. This is an extremely rare phenomenon, which happens only in late June (for the rest of the time colleges are closed for general admission). Professor Leonid Melnyk visited some of the most famous colleges.
