Looking into a solidary future: lecture by Professor L. Melnyk for postgraduate students of Sumy State University

In November, Doctor of Economics Leonid Melnyk, professor of the department of economics, entrepreneurship and business administration (EPBA) of Sumy State University, head of the Jean Monnet Chair, gave a lecture “EU Lessons of social and solidarity economy implementation”.

With this lecture, a cycle of classes began for postgraduate students of Sumy State University of Economics, in which they will get to know the current trends in socio-economic development. The lecture was held in an interactive mode. Postgraduate students actively participated in the lecture, illustrating it with their own examples. After the lecture, a round table was held, where postgraduate students exchanged their opinions on the processes taking place in the world.

Practical classes on the course are conducted by Doctor of Economics, Assoc. Oleksandr Matsenko.

The cycle of classes was prepared within the framework of EU Jean Monnet Chair, which is currently being implemented at the EPBA department:

  • “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), headed by L. Melnyk.
