In the autumn semester of 2023, Oleksandr Kubatko, a teacher at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University, held lecture meetings with students and teachers of Kharkiv National University named after V. Karazin.
During the meeting, various aspects of European integration processes and educational opportunities for Ukraine were discussed. The participants of the meeting learned about the main directions and tasks related to the integration of Ukraine into the EU, as well as about the current issues and challenges on this path. Participants during the lecturing received information about various educational programs, scholarships and opportunities for Ukrainian students and scientists provided by the EU, including academic exchanges, master’s programs, scientific research and other initiatives. The lecturing was part of the course “The EU disruptive technologies practices for sustainable development in the context of Industry 4.0 and 5.0”.
Students asked interesting questions and received comprehensive answers to all their questions. It is expected that such meetings will contribute to increasing awareness and understanding of the prospects that are created thanks to Ukraine’s cooperation with the European Union.
The cycle of classes was prepared based on the results of the EU project of Jean Monet Module, which is currently being carried out at the EPBA department: “Disruptive technologies for sustainable development in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0: the EU Experience (101083435 — DTSDI — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) (2022 – 2025), headed by Iryna Dehtyarova.
