INTENSIVE TRAINING CONTINUES WITHIN THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP COURSE UNDER THE EU_STRENGHTS PROJECT

The week of study in the course “Innovative Entrepreneurship and Startups in the EU (Experience for Ukraine)”, implemented within the EU_STRENGHTS project funded by the European Union flew by incredibly fast – intense, practical, and inspiring. Participants actively engaged in the online sessions, asked questions, and immersed themselves in the real challenges of modern innovative business in the European Union.

The project leader and course coordinator is Inna Koblianska – Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. The classes and practical training sessions were conducted by Vitalii Omelianenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, certified technology manager, and member of the International Project Management Association.

In the final days of the week, participants became familiar with the main approaches to establishing a business in the countries of the European Union, key organizational and regulatory aspects, as well as practical examples of successful startups developing in the European market. They also examined the general principles of business taxation in the EU, the specifics of the tax environment for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, and the role of tax instruments in shaping business strategies.

To conclude the week – on Friday – participants explored practical experience in innovation management and smart solutions for business in the EU. Within this final topic, modern digital and technological tools were presented that help companies improve efficiency, scale their operations, and adapt to the requirements of the European market. Special attention was given to the possibilities of applying such solutions by Ukrainian SMEs.

The learning continues, and next week will bring new interesting topics as well as the beginning of work on participants’ own startup ideas.
