Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, economic security and the European way of development of Ukraine: Speech by Professors L. Melnyk and O. Kubatko at an international conference in Lviv

In June 2022, Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid Melnyk, Director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science, Jean Monet Chair and Doctor of Economics, Professor Oleksandr Kubatko Jean Monet Chair took part in scientific conference “Environmental and economic problems in international trade”, held on the basis of Lviv National University. I. Franko (LNU).

Professor L. Melnyk spoke about the prospects of Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 as factors in strengthening the security of socio-economic systems. The presentation was organized within the framework of the EU project Jean Monnet’s direction “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR).

Professor Oleksandr Kubatko spoke about information security, cybersecurity and trade problems with the EU. The report was organized within the framework of the EU project “Jean Monnet Chair on EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR).

After the speech of scientists, a round table was held on the prospects for the development of electric transport and alternative energy in general under martial law.

The moderator of the round table was Doctor of Economics, Professor of Lviv National University I. Grabynsky.

The event was attended by about 80 participants from Ukraine and other European countries.
