Friendly meeting of scientists from Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management with students of the school in Oleg Balatskyi Street

On May, 11 the lecture for students in grades 10-11 in Sumy School 21 was delivered to celebrate O. Balatskyi’s birthday. The main speaker was the Head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Prof. Leonid Melnyk. He told about Oleg Balatskyi’s biography and his achievements, which contributed to the development of science in the city of Sumy. Associate Professor Oleksandr Matsenko also attended the meeting. Professors spoke about new research areas on the Third and Fourth Industrial Revolutions, which are conducted by the Department to continue Oleg Balatskyi’s research.

A friendly conversation with a second-year student Yevhen Skrypka, majoring in “Economics and Business”, who shared the benefits of studying at SumDU, caused considerable interest among the students. He spoke about the participation in scientific and commercial projects of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, and also shared his experience in using the gained knowledge to organize his own business.
