On December 28, 2021, professors of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of SumDU, Professor Leonid Melnyk and Associate Professor Oleksandr Matsenko completed a series of lectures and practical classes on the discipline of students’ choice “The EU sustainable development practices in the context of Industry 4.0”.
This course was prepared within the framework of the EU project Jean Monnet (chair level): “Legislative, economic and social transition of the EU to a sustainable society within Industry 4.0 and 5.0” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) (2020–2023), which is currently performed at the department.
This year, representatives of six specialties of Sumy State University showed interest in this discipline: banking, management, marketing, international economics, finance and environmental technology.
The series of lectures and practical classes aroused the interest of students and their questions. After the final lecture, there was an improvisational round table, where students expressed their views on the material read. In particular, Oleksii Luchkin even made a mini-presentation of his business, which is associated with the use of 3D printers in the food industry.
