On October 29, an open lecture was held for Sumy National Agrarian University students and faculty on “Innovative Ecosystem of Entrepreneurship in the EU: Main Components.” This lecture was part of the Faculty of Economics and Management week at SNAU, organised at the invitation of Olga Kovalova – PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, named after Prof. I.M. Bryukhovetskyi.
The lecturer – PhD, Associate Professor of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration Department of Sumy State University Inna Koblianska – presented the main features of the current EU innovation policy, financing mechanisms for innovation, and the components of the innovation ecosystem. The primary focus was on developing the innovation ecosystem in the EU, particularly the creation of Regional Innovation Valleys. The lecture also outlined Ukraine’s experiences and practices in this area. Information about the Erasmus+ program and the Jean Monnet Action was also presented.
This event disseminated the results of the Jean Monnet Chair “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” (101175767—EU_STRENGTHS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), which is being implemented from September 2024 at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration of Sumy State University, under the leadership of Inna Koblianska. The project aims to strengthen the EU’s leadership and scientific and innovative potential while popularising the EU’s experiences in science and innovation.
Students and faculty from Sumy National Agrarian University attended the lecture, including representatives from the specialities “Economics” and “Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Exchange Activity.” (bachelor’s and master’s students) of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, named after Prof. I.M. Bryukhovetskyi.
