Within the framework of the Jean Monnet EU project (Jean Monnet Program) and the cooperation of two Ukrainian educational institutions: O.M.Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv and Sumy State University, a series of classes on the general topic “Disruptive technologies in conditions of Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0: EU experience for Ukraine” was held for teachers and students of O.M.Beketov NUUE in Kharkiv. In particular, the online lecture was delivered by Dr. Leonid Melnyk, professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA) of Sumy State University, Head of EU Jean Monet Chair. The lecture was held in an interactive format, where the teacher was asked many questions from the students. The lecture was attended by students of higher education majors 076 “Entrepreneurship and Trade” and 073 “Business Administration”.
After the lecture, a round table was held, the moderators of which were Olena Dymchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the PBA department of O.M.Beketov NUUE in Kharkiv, as well as teachers of the EPBA department, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Iryna Dehtyarova and Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Oleksandr Matsenko. A lively discussion took place around the following issues:
– What are the key differences between industrial revolutions 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0, and how do they affect industries?
– What are the obstacles and challenges facing Ukraine in the process of implementing Industry 4.0 and 5.0 initiatives?
– Which sectors of industry in Ukraine are the most profitable to modernize with the help of disruptive technologies?
– How can Ukraine use the EU experience to increase the competitiveness of its industrial sectors in the light of disruptive technologies?
The events were attended by the teachers of the Department of Business Administration and Economics and Management of O.M.Beketov NUUE in Kharkiv, as well as the Department of Management and Information Communications Management of the National University of Water Management and Nature Management in Rivne.
