Visit of students and teachers to an innovative enterprise for the manufacture of ceramic building materials

May 22, 2017 an excursion to the enterprise “Kerameya” under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Economics and Business Administration Dr., Prof. Melnyk L.G., Ph.D. Chigrin O.Y., Ph.D. Burlakova I.M. was conducted for the students of the specialties “Economics” and “Business Administration”. Today Kerameya is a successful enterprise that dynamically develops and becomes the leader of the market of building ceramic materials in Ukraine, expands export markets, gaining increasing popularity and recognition.

The students were introduced to the work of the enterprise by the head of the marketing department Irina Merkun and the analyst of the department Khudoteply Olexandr. In the multimedia lecture hall students were told in detail about the main stages of the enterprise development, product range, demonstrated an interesting video sequence. Then the students got acquainted with the main stages of manufacturing high-quality building materials directly on the production line, visited the production control room, the quality control laboratory of the finished products. As noted specialists products obtained by high-temperature firing (1200 ˚ C) of high quality clay that provides the product with the unique properties – low water absorption, resistance to frost and unique strength.

During the excursion students received detailed answers on the questions, practical experience and unforgettable impressions.
