The course “EU Practices on Disruptive Technologies for Economic Security and Entrepreneurship” has begun

On February 26, 2025, the course “EU Practices on Disruptive Technologies for Economic Security and Entrepreneurship” commenced. It is implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair project “Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” (101175767—EU_STRENGHTS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH) with the support of the European Union.

This course explores the content and nature of modern technological transformations, focusing on Industry 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 technologies and their role in society. It highlights European practices and experiences in implementing cutting-edge technological solutions, along with EU policies aimed at their promotion and dissemination. Additionally, students analyze trends in the development of modern technologies in Ukraine.

The course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills for a comprehensive understanding of contemporary technologies, their applications across various industries, and their role in achieving sustainable development goals.

The instructor for the bachelor’s students majoring in Economics is Inna Koblianska, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration, and Head of the Jean Monnet Chair.

Upon completing the course (18 hours of lectures and 18 hours of practical classes), students will present and discuss their vision for the future development of Industry 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 technologies and their role in addressing global challenges during a roundtable discussion.
