Students of the Department of Economics and Business Administration Completed an Internship in Local Self-Government Authorities

From March 25 to May 29, 2015, students of the department of Economics and BA successfully completed an internship in local self-government authorities.

Within two months, they participated in work of the structural units of the City Council on an individual schedule. During the internship the trainees studied law, the structure of the City Council and its operation rules. They worked directly with the various regulation documents and performed the work on computer, participated in the preparation and carrying out organizational activities, attended meetings of the executive committee, of the city council and other activities that are an integral part of local self-government authorities’ work.

Having an internship completed, students gained knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform responsible functions in public administration in the future, gained experience of working with colleagues and consumers of public services.

At the end of their internship the head of the city presented corresponding certificates to the trainees.
