Seminar-Workshop for Students of Economics and Entrepreneurs

On April 7, 2021, a seminar-workshop was held with the participation of Maksym KORNIIENKO (a graduate of SumDU), coordinator of the coalition of the NGO “Sumy Reform Platform” (association of public organizations and initiatives of the Sumy city, which aims to promote reforms in it) for 2^nd year students studying on Educational Program “Economics and Business” (ЕН-92/1е, ЕН-92/4е-0) and “Business, Trade and Exchange Activities” (ЕН-91/1пе, ЕН-91/2бфк, ЕН-91/3, ЕН-91/4-0). The event took place within the studying the courses “Regional Economics” (lecturer: Ph.D. Yuriy Derev’yanko) and “Economics of Trade” (lecturer: Ph.D. Olha LUKASH).

The problems and peculiarities of regional economic development, participation of citizens in making important decisions at the local level, as well as regional aspects of the relationship between economic agents were discussed. Other teachers of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration joined the meeting.
