Participation of the Sumy State University’s lecturer in the Horizon 2020 project

At the invitation of the Institute of Structural Studies (IBS) (Warsaw, Poland), Olha Lukash, PhD, Assoc. Prof., lecturer from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University, joined the group of scientists from 18 countries participating in the Horizon 2020 project “TIPPING+” (Enabling Positive Tipping Points towards clean-energy transitions in Coal and Carbon Intensive Regions). The project coordinator is the Global Climate Forum (Berlin, Germany).

Thanks to cooperation with IBS within the TIPPING+ project, Olha received support for her own research project, which she will carry out in Ukraine. This project will focus on the main topic of the TIPPING+ research, that is, on the socio-economic changes in the coal regions. The research will be conducted according to the methodology developed within two years since the launch of TIPPING+. As part of the research project, Olha Lukash will perform her own research, the goal of which is the just transformation of the coal regions of Ukraine and the clean-energy transition.
