In December 2020, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Bohdan Kovalov (Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Sume State University) has delivered a series of online lectures on the course “Basics of SME and start-ups in the EU in conditions of Industries 4.0 and 5.0” for students of 10th grades of Municipal institution of Sumy regional council “Sumy regional gymnasium-boarding school for talented and creatively gifted children”.
Lectures were held within Jean Monnet Chair “EU legislative, economic and social transition to sustainable society” (619997-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR, Supervisor – Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business administration Leonid Melnyk).
Bohdan Kovalov spoke about the EU’s experience in the creating of small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. In addition, students took part in online training, during which they practiced writing business ideas, in particular: identified the target audience, the uniqueness of the offer, advertising channels and drew up an action plan for launching start-ups.
