“Hot” December at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration began not only with preparations for the New Year, but, first of all, with a series of lectures for applicants of the friendly Odessa National Polytechnic University (ONPU) in the framework of this year’s project “Jean Monnet Department of EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR, Supervisor – Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration Alexander Kubatko).
Lectures were given by Ph.D., Art. lecturer Oleksiy HONCHARENKO and Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia CHORTOK. Due to quarantine restrictions, all classes were conducted online. Despite this, with the full support of the associate professor of the Department of Economics of Enterprises ONPU Gleb ZADOROZHKO, the applicants showed great interest in the topic of European integration. Applicants for the bachelor’s degree in Education “Economics” and “Accounting and Auditing” ONPU had the opportunity to get acquainted with such extremely important topics as: general concepts of European integration (theories of EU integration, Jean Monnet’s ideas on EU integration, economic theories of EU integration) , features of coordination of economic and fiscal policy during overcoming of crisis phenomena, etc.
