Digital competences as an element of civil education within Jean Monnet

On March 29, 2020, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yuriy Petrushenko, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations of the SSU (Institute of Business, Economics and Management), has provided an online lecture “Digital Competences as an Element of Civic Education: The Experience of the European Union” for students of Educational Center for Adult Education in Sumy “Education for Life“.

The lecture was included in the series of streams within the Digital Liknep program Adult Education Center, Sumy, which explores SMART solutions and digital tools that are useful to the community.

The lecture was given in the framework of EU project of Jean Monnet (chair level), “EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR) funded by Jean Monnet programme.

The lecture aroused the interest of the listeners, the most interesting was the discussion on the prospects of various tools of digital democracy.
