Master’s students of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management at Sumy State University learned the intricacies of project management with a practitioner

On April 29, 2024, as part of the disciplines “Business and Innovation” and “Resource Conservation Economics” for master’s students of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management at Sumy State University, a lecture was held on the topic “Development and Implementation of Project Management Systems in Business”. Master’s students of the following educational programs joined the lecture: 051 Economics (group E.m-31) and 076 Entrepreneurship, Trade and Logistics (groups PTL.m-31, 32).

The lecturer was Oleksii Yehorchenkov, Professor of the Department of Management Technologies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a researcher at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, a data engineer at Reputation Capital, and a specialist with extensive experience in developing and implementing project management systems in companies of various industries.

During the lecture, Oleksii Yehorchenkov shared his experience and knowledge in project management with the audience. He revealed the critical aspects of developing and implementing project management systems in business, focusing on issues such as defining project goals and objectives, planning and implementing projects, and evaluating project performance.

The lecturer also gave practical examples of the successful development and implementation of a project management system in an aircraft manufacturing company.

Students listened to the lecture with interest and actively participated in the discussion. They had the opportunity to ask the lecturer questions and receive expert advice.

Project management is essential for any specialist striving to succeed in modern business.
