Within the lecture “Sustainable settlements” by Professor Leonid Melnyk at Sumy State University was finished author’s course “Industries 3.0, 4.0, 5.0. and goals of sustainable development: EU experience for Ukraine (modern trends of economic development)”. Lecturer – Doctor of Economics Leonid Melnyk, professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (EPBA) of Sumy State University, director of the Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Practical classes are conducted by Doctor of Economics. Oleksandr Matsenko, associate professor of the EPBA department.
The lecturing was held in an interactive mode. The listeners actively participated. During the classes, there were many questions to the lecturer and students’ own examples.
The course is prepared on the basis of the results of the EU Jean Monet project, which is currently being carried out at the EPBA department: «Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation» (101175767—EU_STRENGHTS—ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH) 2024-2027 headed by Inna Koblianska.
