 In the framework of May celebrations dedicated to the Day of Science conducted by the Department of Education and Science of Sumy Regional State Administration, Head of the Department of Economics and Business Administration at Sumy State University, Director of the Institute for Development Economics MESU and NASU, Doctor of Economics, Professor Leonid G. Melnyk was awarded a Diploma for excellence and fruitful work with talented youth, involved in research activities in Sumy local office of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
It should be noted that for many years, Leonid G. Melnyk successfully manages research work of senior pupils, so this award is a worthy recognition of his work.
