Lectures to students of “Poltava Polytechnic” University within the framework of the Jean Monnet project

In September-October 2024, an intensive course “EU economy and economic policies of business support” was held for students of the National University “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yury Kondratyuk”. The lecturer of the course is Dr Bohdan Kovalov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Sumy State University.

During the intensive course, the EU economy and economic policy aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses were examined. Particular attention was paid to EU measures aimed at stimulating small and medium-sized businesses and creating new jobs. Dr Bohdan Kovalov covered the topics of social, economic and political integration in the EU, the role of the EU economy in the modern world, and also spoke in detail about EU economic policy measures aimed at supporting business and creating jobs. The results of the study on the connection between achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the development of small and medium-sized businesses in EU countries were discussed separately.

The intensive course has been prepared within the framework of the implementation of the European Commission project – the Jean Monnet Module “Youth & Business: EU Practices for Cooperation” (101126538-YouthBEU-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), headed Bohdan Kovalov.
