From 16th to 23rd of October, eight students of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) Sumy State University had a short-term training at Technical and Humanistic Academy, Bielsko-Biala (Poland).

The group included FEM students of different years of study and different specialties. In particular, two students of the Department of Economics and Business Administration, as follows: Iryna Goncharenko and Natalia Prytaka.

Our students, despite the fact that there were quite a bit of time, managed to visit several ancient and beautiful cities that are affectionately greeted them with warm and sunny weather and make them fall in love forever.

Bielsko -Biala – a small town in southern Poland, situated in a picturesque area in the mountain range, combines fabulous architecture and unspoiled natural beauty. And in the south of Poland, in the historic region of Silesia, on the rivers Klodnitsya and Rava students got acquainted with the amazing city of Katowice.

Sumy students also went to Cieszyn, which is considered one of the oldest settlements in the country. The city has a lot of cultural and historical heritage, both of the Middle Ages and modern times. With its unique architecture it earned the nickname of “Little Vienna “. The city is divided into two parts with Olza River which is the border between the Czech Republic and Poland, and divides it into two halves – the Polish Cieszyn and Czech Cieszyn .

Also, the girls managed to get acquainted with the oldest town in the north of the Czech Republic – Zhatets. The city is located just 75 kilometers from the capital of the Czech Republic. In the city which is sometimes referred to as the “capital of hops” Sumy students visited the brewery.

Krakow with its extraordinary beauty and grandeur struck Sumy guests most. To this amazing city with a thousand years of history, rich cultural and architectural heritage students would like to come back for more in the winter.

The initiator of the study tour was the FEM dean O.V. Prokopenko, and for this students were very grateful to her and recommend other fellow-students to visit these picturesque, imbued with history and the events places during the next tour from SSU in Poland in the winter.
