FEM Athlete Got “Silver” At Championship of Ukraine In Military And Sports All-Round Competitions

Recently, with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the public organization “All-Ukraine Federation of Military And Sports All-Round Competitions” in Kharkiv at “School of Higher Sports Mastery” sports complex the Championship of Ukraine In Military And Sports All-Round Competitions was held in “Martial Double-Event” section.

The championship was attended by students of the Department of Economics and Business Administration Yury Arutiyunov (group EE.m-41/1u). At the competition 25 teams were presented from different regions of Ukraine: Kiev, Kirovograd, Lviv, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia and Zakarpattya. Athletes had a hard struggle both in personal and in team championship, competing for the main Championship Cup and personal rewards. At the end of two competition sections (shooting and “all-style battle”), our athlete won the II place of honor in 75-80 kg weight category among men over 18 years old and was awarded second degree diploma and silver medal.

This championship was one of the most difficult for athletes due to the fact that it also was a qualifier for the World Championship to be held in December this year.
