In December 2021, Doctor of Economics Leonid Melnyk, Professor of Dept. of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration in Sumy State University, Director of the Research Institute of Development Economics of the Ministry of Education & Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, gave a series of lectures “The Basics of EU Policy and Technical Progress” to students majoring in 141 Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics. The lectures were given under the EU grant of Jean Monnet “Economic Policy and Civil Society of the EU” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR), which is currently being implemented at the department.
The lectures were delivered online in an interactive regime and aroused considerable interest.
