{"id":92620,"date":"2026-09-10T12:43:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T09:43:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/econ.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/?p=92620"},"modified":"2026-07-12T12:43:57","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T09:43:57","slug":"sumy-state-university-students-win-the-international-student-research-paper-competition-in-management-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/econ.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/en\/sumy-state-university-students-win-the-international-student-research-paper-competition-in-management-3","title":{"rendered":"Sumy State University Students Win the International Student Research Paper Competition in Management"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students from Sumy State University won the second round of the International Competition of Student Research Papers in the field of \u201cEconomics and International Economic Relations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A first-degree diploma was awarded to the research paper \u00abReconceptualizing Wind Energy: Circular Economy Approaches for Blade Recycling and Repurposing\u00bb authored by Mariia Dudka and Liliia Suyarova (second-year students) of the \u201cEconomics and International Economic Relations\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p>The research was supervised by Oleksandr Kubatko, doctor of Economics, Head of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration at Sumy State University, and Tetiana Tambovtseva, Dr., Professor at Riga Technical University.<\/p>\n<p>The final meeting of the sectoral competition committee took place on June 5, 2026, online at the Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi Kremenchuk National University. This year, the competition brought together 93 participants from 46 higher education institutions, who presented 64 student research papers.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Italy, Georgia, Germany, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Slovakia, Latvia, France, Spain, Kazakhstan, and Finland participated in and helped organize the competition. Such international representation underscores the competition\u2019s high standing and makes the victory of Sumy State University students particularly significant.<\/p>\n<p>Winning this prestigious international competition is strong evidence of the high level of academic training among students at Sumy State University, the effectiveness of interuniversity collaboration, and the success of the academic mentorship provided by Ukrainian and European researchers.<\/p>\n<p>We sincerely congratulate Mariia Dudka and Liliia Suyarova, as well as their academic advisors\u2014Oleksandr Kubatko and Tetiana Tambovtseva\u2014on this well-deserved recognition!
