On February 06, 2026, the first classes of the discipline\u00a0\u201cInnovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Project Management\u201d\u00a0took place. The course is implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair project\u00a0\u201cStrengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation\u201d\u00a0(101175767\u2014EU_STRENGHTS\u2014ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), with the support of the European Union.<\/p>\n

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of innovative entrepreneurship, its development in the EU and Ukraine, and the opportunities available for innovative businesses within the EU. It aims to highlight the prospects and potential for entrepreneurship development, emphasizing the EU as a hub for innovation and startups. The course materials showcase examples of successful startups in the EU, focusing on best practices, challenges, and lessons applicable across different cultural contexts. Students will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to develop startups in alignment with EU practices while considering the Ukrainian business environment.<\/p>\n

The course is designed for students of various specialties. The instructors for four groups, which include students specializing in Management, Marketing, Economics and Business, Banking, Tourism,\u00a0and other fields (121 students in total), are Inna Koblianska, , Ph.D., Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration, and chief of the Jean Monnet Chair, and Yuliia Chortok, Ph.D., Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration, and performer of the Jean Monnet Chair.<\/p>\n

By the end of the course (which includes\u00a032 hours of lectures and 18 hours of practical sessions), students will develop their own startup projects, drawing inspiration from the best EU startup experiences. These projects will be presented during a\u00a0final pitching session.<\/p>\n
