On\u00a0November 7, 2025, the\u00a05th International Conference on Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics (ICMLBDA-2025)\u00a0began its work. The event is co-organized by\u00a0Sumy State University, particularly by the\u00a0Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration\u00a0and the\u00a0Department of Computer Science.<\/p>\n

One of the key sessions of the conference was\u00a0\u201cData-Driven Models and Analytics for the Circular Economy and Sustainable Innovation\u201d, chaired by\u00a0Assoc. Prof. Inna Koblianska\u00a0from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. The session was co-chaired by\u00a0Assoc. Prof. Borys Kuzykov\u00a0from the Department of Computer Science at SumDU and\u00a0Assoc. Prof. Anna Maslon-Oracz\u00a0from the\u00a0Warsaw School of Economics (Poland).<\/p>\n

Within the session, researchers from\u00a0Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine presented the results of their studies focused on the use of\u00a0artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics\u00a0to foster sustainable innovation, digital economy development, business efficiency, and resource management. The discussion covered topics such as\u00a0AI and data-driven models in industry,\u00a0economic forecasting,\u00a0sustainable regional development modeling, and\u00a0 digital transformation.<\/p>\n

The conference is held in a\u00a0hybrid format\u00a0on\u00a0November 7\u20138, 2025. On the first day alone,\u00a0over 40 participants\u00a0from different countries joined the online sessions.<\/p>\n

The event has become an important platform for\u00a0sharing knowledge, exchanging experience, and building\u00a0new interdisciplinary connections. The\u00a0conference proceedings\u00a0will be published in the\u00a0Springer PROMS\u00a0series, indexed in the\u00a0Scopus\u00a0database.<\/p>\n
