On\u00a0March 18, 2025, the\u00a0joint international academic virtual mobility program\u00a0between\u00a0Sumy State University\u00a0and\u00a0Riga Technical University\u00a0was officially launched. The first event of the program featured an engaging lecture by\u00a0Dr. Tatjana Tambovceva, Professor at\u00a0Riga Technical University, on the topic\u00a0“Introduction to Disruptive Technologies and the Circular Economy.”<\/p>\n
This lecture marked the\u00a0beginning of a series of lectures and seminars\u00a0scheduled within the three-month mobility program.\u00a0Bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students, as well as faculty members\u00a0from the\u00a0Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Business Administration at SumDU\u00a0are actively participating in the initiative.<\/p>\n
During the lecture, the following issues were explored: the history and theoretical foundations of the circular economy concept, and Latvia\u2019s experience in implementing modern technologies\u00a0to achieve the goals of a closed-loop economy<\/p>\n
