{"id":89530,"date":"2025-03-05T19:23:39","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T17:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/econ.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/?p=89530"},"modified":"2025-03-05T19:23:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-05T17:23:39","slug":"guest-lecture-for-students-of-surabaya-state-university-in-indonesia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/econ.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/en\/guest-lecture-for-students-of-surabaya-state-university-in-indonesia","title":{"rendered":"GUEST LECTURE FOR STUDENTS OF SURABAYA STATE UNIVERSITY IN INDONESIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\ud83d\udcc5 On\u00a0<strong>March 5, 2025<\/strong>, Associate Professor\u00a0<strong>Inna Koblianska<\/strong>, at the invitation of international partners, delivered a guest lecture on\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Ethical and Legal Issues in a Data-Driven World: A European Perspective&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0for students of\u00a0<strong>Surabaya State University (UNESA) in Indonesia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udce2 The lecture was held within the framework of the\u00a0<strong>Jean Monnet project<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddfa\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0(101175767\u2014EU_STRENGHTS\u2014ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH), implemented by the department since September 2024 with the support of the\u00a0<strong>European Union<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd0e\u00a0<strong>Key topics of the lecture:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2705\u00a0<strong>The European vision of digital transformation<\/strong>: its\u00a0<strong>advantages, challenges, and societal impact<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u2705\u00a0<strong>The role of data in innovation<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83d\udca1 and associated risks:\u00a0<strong>privacy violations <\/strong><strong>\ud83d\udd10<\/strong><strong> and misuse of personal data<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u2705\u00a0<strong>The need for a responsible approach to data usage<\/strong>\u00a0\ud83e\udd16\ud83d\udcca, especially in the era of\u00a0<strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong>.<br \/>\n\u2705\u00a0<strong>Ethical and legal aspects of digital transformation<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>EU ethical principles, regulatory frameworks <\/strong><strong>\ud83d\udcdc<\/strong><strong>, and best practices<\/strong>\u00a0for ensuring a balanced and fair digital future.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc65 The lecture sparked\u00a0<strong>a lively discussion<\/strong>, with students and faculty actively engaging in the conversation.\u00a0<strong>A total of 44 participants<\/strong>\u00a0attended the event.
