Today we will talk with Dmytro Andrukhov, a graduate of the specialty “Business, Trade and Exchange Activities”.<\/p>\n

How did your journey in entrepreneurship begin?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even while studying, I realized that I didn\u2019t want to wait until graduation to start my own business. I had always been eager to
\ncreate something of my own, and when I came up with a business idea, I decided not to postpone it.
\nIn my third year, I founded a business manufacturing of the LED neon signs. Initially, it was a simple idea \u2013 to create stylish lighting installations that could be used in interiors, stores, bars, or for personal orders.
\nI started selling my work on Etsy and later launched my own website, cityneon.us<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How did studying at Sumy State University help you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This wasn\u2019t just a side hustle \u2013 I was fully immersed in the business processes. I had to learn marketing on my own, establish production, understand logistics, and work with clients. Demand turned out to be high, and within two years, I had a stable income.
\nAt the same time, I continued my studies at the University, gaining knowledge that became a strong foundation for my business development.
\nIt was at SumDU that I learned to analyze the market, structure financial processes correctly, and strategically plan the future of my venture.<\/p>\n

How did moving to the USA affect your business?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2022, I had to relocate production abroad. It was a challenging period, but I decided not to give up and continued working under new conditions.
\nAfter arriving in the U.S., I restarted my business \u2013 but this time on a new level: I began using 3D printers to create even more complex and unique neon signs.<\/p>\n

Once again, I had to go through the entrepreneurial journey \u2013 researching the market, finding customers, and building a brand from scratch.<\/p>\n

Today, my business is thriving, and I continue to expand it. I\u2019ve realized that the knowledge I gained at university became a valuable foundation
\nthat helped me adapt to new challenges and build a successful venture.<\/p>\n

What would you like to wish for young people?<\/strong><\/p>\n
