<\/a><\/p>\nDuring the spring semester of 2022, the teachers of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration Oleksandr Kubatko, Bohdan Kovalov, and Yuliia Chortok held lecture-meetings with students of the machine building college of Sumy State University.<\/p>\n
During the meetings, the stages of the development of European studies at Sumy State University were discussed. Lectures discussed the issues of economic policy, directions for the formation of energy and resource security in the conditions of war. Oleksandr Kubatko spoke about the achievements of industries 4.0 and 5.0 to ensure information and public security and the development of civil society in Ukraine. Bohdan Kovalov spoke about the basics of the EU’s trade policy and the historical stages of Ukraine’s development before obtaining the status of a candidate country for EU membership.<\/p>\n
Students had the opportunity to perform a creative task regarding the prospects of cooperation with the EU in the future.<\/p>\n
The training courses were prepared within the framework of the EU Jean Monnet project (Chair level): “Jean Monnet Chair in EU Economic Policy and Civil Society” (619878-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-CHAIR). Oleksiy Goncharenko and Yulia Chortok, teachers of the department, joined the development of educational complexes.<\/p>\n
