On February 15, 2021, within the framework of the disciplines “Statistics” (lecturer – Assoc. Prof. Oleksandr Matsenko) \u0442\u0430 “Workshop on Business Planning” (lecturer – Assistant Olena Matsenko) students of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management groups, in particular, E-11, PTB-11, EM-11 were able to join the open lecture ” Principles of Bitcoin Functioning”, organized by the leading blockchain company Distributed Lab.<\/p>\n

Speakers were Oleksandr Kurbatov, a blockchain researcher at Distributed Lab and Elena Voloshchuk, PhD, coordinator of educational programs Distributed Lab. They introduced students to aspects of the company’s activities, shared their experience with blockchain technologies and the peculiarities of working with cryptocurrency. Particular attention was paid to data protection issues.<\/p>\n

During the presentations, students asked many urgent questions, to which they received detailed answers.<\/p>\n
