\nOn December 17, 2012 in the library building of SSU for the second time was held the business ideas contest “If I Was an Entrepreneur …”. The contest was held under the initiative of the Department of Economics and Business Administration of SSU. Co-organizers of the contest were Regional Organization of “All-Ukrainian Union of Scientists-Economists”, NGO “Council of Young Scientists” and Sumy regional office of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

\nThe aim of the competition was to attract senior pupils from Sumy region into solving the economic, social and environmental problems. Their willingness to take part in the competition showed students of secondary schools and gymnasiums in Sumy, Glukhiv, Shostka, Konotop, Velyka Chernechchyna Village and Novgorod-Siversky. At the competition there was presented 29 business ideas by 36 participants. The event was highlighted in blogs, social networks and at regional television.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

\nSchool students made a try to really feel themselves like entrepreneurs. Bright and original presentations helped to visualize proposed business ideas. Reports of contestants got positive approval from the jury members and caused a lively discussion among the participants.<\/p>\n

\nThe winner become the student of Konotop specialized school of I-III degrees \u2116 3 Bezliudnyi Tymur Sergiyovych. with his work on “Opening Automatic Car Wash in Konotop”.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

\nThe second place took Yudin Matviy Yuriyovych (student of Alexander Gymnasium, Sumy) with his project on “Water Desalination” and Bozhenko Zhanna Sergiivna. (student KU Sumy comprehensive school of I-III degrees \u2116 23, Sumy) with business idea about \u00abSumy Extreme Style\u00bb – creating of entertainment venue for Sumy rollers and skaters.<\/p>\n

\nThe third place was shared between Litvinenko Ivan Sergiyovych (Velykochernechchynska specialized school I-III degrees of Sumy region.) with work on “Sports Equipment”, Mamay Danyjila Sergiivna. (CP Sumy Regional Council Glukhiv Zhuzhoma M.I. specialized boarding school of I-III degrees) with business idea of “The Cossack Republic” and a team of students of KU Sumy specialized school \u2116 9 Melnyk Myckola Valeriyovych and Telizhenko Dariya Igorivna entitled \u00abPer Aspera Ad Astra!\u00bb with the competition work on “Creating GrandInternet resource \u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

\nThere also were the winners in the following categories: “Best Presentation”, “Creativity”, “Innovation”, “Team Spirit” and “Best Start-up\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\nAll participants were awarded with valuable prizes.<\/p>\n

\nDuring the day, students took part in an exciting photo-quest “Feel Like a Real Student”, organized by the students of specialty “Economics of Enterprise”. After competition was over senior pupils had the opportunity to talk with the head of the Department of Economics and Business Administration, Dr.E., prof. Leonid Melnyk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nThank you all for participating in the contest and we wish the participants to develop further their creativity and direct it to the solution of social, economic and environmental problems of the regions of Ukraine!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
