\nFrom 10 to 14 January teachers of the Department of Economics and Business Administration of Sumy State University Dr., Professor L.G Melnyk and Candidate of Economic Science, Senior Lecturer O.M. Derykolenko took part in the International Conference “Eurasian Business and Economics Society”, which was held at the Sapienza<\/em> University of Rome.<\/p>\n

\nScientists from more then 20 countries of all continents attended the conference. Only a few phrases from the conference reports can demonstrate a high level of discussion: “all – in everything”, “synchronization of regional development”, “experiential marketing”, “neo-Keynesian models of the post-socialist countries”, “strength and weakness of social networks”, “how to evaluate archetypes brands in the political markets”…<\/div>\n

\nThe work of conference “round tables” (mini-seminars)<\/p>\n

\nScientists of SSU presented the report “Economic and environmental convergence. Evidence of Ukraine.” Senior Lecturers of the Department of Economics and Business Administration at SSU, Candidates of Economic Sciences O. Derykolenko and Oleksandr Kubatko are co-authors of the report. The key idea of \u200b\u200bthe report is that sustainable development of the country can be achieved only if levels of economic prosperity and environmental pressure on its regions are aligned. Their information diversity should increase.<\/p>\n

\nMeeting at a conference a colleague, Dr., Prof. Naoko Shinkai from Nagoya University (Japan), where Professor Melnyk once had a chance to work for a year during his scientific training was a pleasant surprise for Professor L. Melnyk.<\/p>\n

\nConference participants worked hard for three days, including Sundays. However, the organizing committee found the \u201cwindow\u201d for the cultural program during which the participants had the opportunity to visit the Vatican Museums and see the sights of Rome.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\nSeeing as the Italians carefully preserve their historical memory, unwittingly indulge thoughts of Sumy, where the city’s history is destroyed outrageously. Perhaps, with the right approach we should, for example, save the fragments which disappeared from the map of the city a year ago – an old cloth mill, former Pavlovsky, and then Krasnozvezdensky refinery, built by Kharytonenko dynasty (which soone or later will go after the factory), and other facilities. But with them, in fact, the history of industrial Sumy began.<\/p>\n

According to its author, and in combination – the artist … Maybe the fact that we face a real danger of becoming living idols, seated next to containers for rubbish, if we are not interested in history and forget about nature (?) …<\/p>\n

\nThe rainbow appeared from nowhere over Rome in the Vatican like a sign of hope for the better saying good buy to participants of the conference\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

And it is – in mid-January…<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
