\nThe Winners of “If I Were a Businessman …” Business Ideas Contest Were Determined At the Department of Economics and Business Administration\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\n<\/a><\/a>Upon an initiative of the Department of Economics and Business Administration of SSU on December 5, 2014 a contest of business ideas “If I were a businessman …” was held, which aimed to develop the youth creative potential and to address social, economic and environmental problems of the region.<\/p>\n

\nThe contest was held among high school students in two stages. The first stage was conducted in the form of economic computer game using e-learning technologies. The second stage (final) was held in the format of command performances at the Sumy State University according to thematic areas predefined by online voting. This year’s theme for the 2nd stage was “Organization of youth leisure-time activities.” On this topic team-participants presented their own business ideas to “investors” \u2013 the contest jury. The jury consisted of leading experts in economics and business and students of the faculty of Economics and Management of SSU.<\/p>\n

\nAt the final stage of the contest ideas were presented by 8 teams of senior pupils of secondary schools and gymnasiums from Sumy, Konotop, Shostka, Velyka Chernechchyna, Okhtyrka, Bilopillya, Romny.<\/p>\n

\nProject for “Gryndzholy-cycling” entertaining center creation brought unconditional victory to Velyka Chernechchyna team. Team of pupils of Okhtyrka gymnasium of Okhtyrka City Council of Sumy Region ranked second by presenting the idea of creating a center of creative youth ideas “Rhythm”. Pupils of Sumy secondary school I-III stages number 12, if they were entrepreneurs, would implement the “Bicycle lease” project, to which the jury awarded third place. Contest winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts and teachers who helped in the preparation received honors.<\/p>\n

\nThe partners of the event were: computer equipment shops “Comservice” and “Profcomp”, Company for Commercial Mediation \u00abVasak\u00bb (Jordan), <\/span>sweets manufacturer JSC “Mondelis Ukraine”, Trademark “Kosivschyna”, Regional organization “All-Ukrainian Union of Scientists-Economists” Sumy territorial department of Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Family Leisure Club, a network of cinemas “Planeta Kino”, Children’s Entertainment Complex \u00abHalabuda\u00bb and Charity Foundation “Ukrainian heart.”<\/p>\n

\nThe program of the competition was pretty intense and included, in addition to the business ideas presentation, entertaining activities, including participants\u2019 acquaintance with student-activists of the Faculty of Economics and Management.<\/p>\n

\nAll participants received a rewarding experience and unforgettable impressions from participation in the contest! We wish all the participants to make their dreams come true!<\/p>\n
