\nIn January-February, Professor, Dr., Head of the Department of Economics and Business Administration, Director of the Research Institute for Development Economics (under Ministry of Education &and Science and National Academy of Science of Ukraine) Leonid Melnyk was on the research and teaching internship in New Zealand (Auckland, Massey University).<\/p>\n

\nIssues related to filling the content of a new specialty “Business, trade and stock exchange activities”, were discussed as well as educational materials received. For the coming year, it is planned to enroll students in “Business, trade and stock exchange activities” at Sumy State University.<\/p>\n

\nProfessor Melnyk gave the presentation on “Green Revolution and the Third and Fourth Industrial Revolution” (which refers to the theme of Jean Monnet project, for which he is the leader) for faculty and graduate students of the Department of Economics and Marketing at Massey University. He also held consultations at the request of some of them.<\/p>\n

\nThe manuscript of a new monograph “Theory of systems” is also the result of the internship. <\/p>\n

\nWith the support of the university colleagues professor. L.G. Melnyk managed to get acquainted with the organization of the New Zealander several protected areas in the South Island (National Park “Abel Tasman”, fjord islands of Beach Queen Charlotte, Lake Rotoiti). In particular, Professor Melnyk learnt how to attract ecotourists. As you know, tourism in New Zealand brings up to 10% of GDP.<\/p>\n
