\nOn October 31 and November 1, 2017, teachers, postgraduate students and students of the Oleg Balatsky Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management were able to attend the lecture \u00abThe Widening Concept of Clean Production\u00bb, by Luc Hens the world famous Belgian scientist.<\/div>\n
\nThe professor has been cooperating with the SSU for many years; in particular, in collaboration with the scientists of our university have been published 2 scholars. The scientist has visited the Sumy 10 times.<\/div>\n
\nLuc Hens spoke about sustainable development and its components, new thinking, ecological and economic trends, responsible entrepreneurship and consumption. The professor considered in detail the concepts of green and circular economics. He illustrated his story with relevant examples of contemporary realities.<\/div>\n
\nThe working language of the meeting was English. After the lecture, students and postgraduate students were able to communicate with the professor, ask questions. It should be noted that young people took an active part in the discussion. They show interest in global environmental, economic and social problems, and having demonstrated a sufficient level of knowledge of a foreign language.<\/div>\n
\nLuc Hens has officially started to work at the Sumy State University recently, so everyone who is interested in his research topics and scientific reports will still be able to attend lectures by a professor.<\/div>\n
