\n<\/a><\/a>March 25th \u2013 29th professors from the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration took part in the International Conference \u201cDigital Economy and Digital Society\u201d at Katowice School of Technology, Poland.<\/div>\n
\nAt the conference they presented the report \u201cSocial and Economic Drivers of the Development of the Digital Economy\u201d. According to the results of the conference it is planned to publish a collective monograph.<\/div>\n

\nMoreover, Sumy scientists, taking advantage of the conference free time, visited the Universities of Economics in Katowice and Krakow, where they met with their colleagues (Professor Krystyna J\u0119dralska, Dean of the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Katowice, and Professor Andrzej Jaki, Head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Enterprises at Cracow University of Economics) and discussed possible prospects for further cooperation.<\/div>\n

\nIn addition, the guests from Sumy learnt the Katowice experience in the implementation of “smart” stops for urban transport. Moreover, two student research papers on transport logistics systems supervised by Prof. L. Melnyk and Ass. Prof. O. Matsenko were selected for the final conference of the II round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers, which is held at Kharkov National Automobile and Highway University.<\/div>\n
