\nWhile the new social threat is breaking out in the world and news broadcasts are filled with sad statistics, we want to add a little positive to the information space, namely to share with you the results of the international activities of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and BA.<\/p>\n

\nSo, in 2019 the international activity of our department of economy, business and BA was carried out in accordance with the Strategy of internationalization of SSU and in general provided certain positive results.<\/p>\n

\nThe following are important results of 2019:<\/p>\n

\n– formation of internal mechanism of international direction development at the department;<\/p>\n

\n– academic mobility of applicants;<\/p>\n

\n– international trainings for teachers;<\/p>\n

\n– scientific work of teachers at US universities;<\/p>\n

\n– teaching at the universities of Nigeria;<\/p>\n

\n– active work on international projects.<\/p>\n

\nMuch has been done at the department and this is confirmed by the figures. And by the numbers stands the persistent and sometimes desperate work of employees.<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\nAssociate Professor of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and BA Shkarupa OV was in the period from 09\/18\/2019 to 03\/20\/2020 under the academic mobility program at Bingam University (Nigeria). During this period, all the planned tasks within the academic mobility program were successfully completed, including: lectures and workshops, as well as research and seminars. And returning home due to the spread of the coronavirus and the closing of the borders of many countries was more like a thriller than an academic journey. \n<\/a><\/a>Particular attention should be paid to the international activity of the head of the department, Professor Melnik LG. He has made so much in 2019 that we can only envy his energy and inspiration. Covering all his academic travels can take many pages of news, so let’s dwell on some. For example, Professor Leonid Melnik’s internship in Sydney, Australia has been accompanied not only by teaching and research, but also by the most devastating fires of the last several decades.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nWithout his expert opinion, the meeting of the Program Committee of the European Commission on the implementation of the Horizon 2020 program, held on 10.10.2019 in Brussels, was complete.<\/div>\n
\nAnd from November 20 to 23, 2019, Prof. Leonid Melnyk participated in the World Science Forum (WSF) in Budapest under the slogan “Science, Ethics and Responsibility”.<\/div>\n

\nAnastasia Shpak, a 4th year student in Economics and Business, went to study in sunny Spain at the University of Almeria as part of the ERASMUS + academic mobility program.<\/div>\n

\nThe proliferation of European studies has not gone beyond our department. From September 2016 to 2019, under the leadership of Doctor of Economics, Assoc. Alexandra Kubatka and Doctor of Economics, Assoc. Tatiana Pymonenko implemented the projectEERAZMUS + under the Jean Monnet program “Opportunities and Challenges of EU Trade for Ukraine” (EUTOU) 573581-EPP-1-2016-1-UAEPPJMO-MODULE.<\/div>\n
\n The project included:<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 two manuals and a monograph have been prepared;<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 three distance courses were developed;<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Prepared periodicals and conference reports;<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 a set of presentation materials and recommendations for conducting classes were developed to ensure appropriate training cycles;<\/div>\n
\n\u2022 Complex scientific and practical works were performed to substantiate the content of the module.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n
\nThe teaching staff of the foreign professors invited by the department, Samuel Mustafa (Canada) and Luke Gens (Belgium), allowed the students and teachers to get acquainted with advanced knowledge of sustainable development and to exchange experience in innovative technologies of teaching economic disciplines.<\/div>\n
\nAnd this is just the tip of the iceberg. Such fruitful work is a synergistic result of the effective leadership and hard work of each member of the highly qualified team of teachers and staff of our department.<\/div>\n
\nDespite the challenges of 2020, we wish strength in further work on the development of the international activity of the department.<\/div>\n
