Innovation\u00bb (101175767\u2014EU_STRENGHTS\u2014ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH) 2024-2027<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>Since September 2024, Sumy State University has been implementing a project funded by the European Commission \u2014 the Jean Monnet Chair\u00a0<em>\u201cStrengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(EU_STRENGHTS), led by PhD, Associate Professor Inna Koblyanska.<\/p><p><strong><em>The main objective of this Jean Monnet Chair<\/em><\/strong> is to promote EU innovation culture and scientific values among students, scholars, businesses, government, and the public and support its adoption.<\/p><p><strong><em>Specific objectives of the project<\/em><\/strong> include:<\/p><ul><li>Reinforce the contribution of lifelong learning to social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, and personal fulfilment through the development of EU study courses for students, SMEs, and scholars;<\/li><li>Enhance knowledge and awareness about EU science and innovation culture;<\/li><li>Encourage tolerance and respect for other people and cultures through teaching intercultural groups of students;<\/li><li>Foster collaboration of academia, business, policymakers, and civil society to create a network of motivated persons supporting and promoting common EU cooperation principles;<\/li><li>Support the integration of EU-related studies in higher education institutions within and outside the EU.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><em>Target audiences of the project <\/em><\/strong>include\u00a0university and college students, secondary school pupils, researchers and scholars, representatives of academia, business, civil society, public authorities, and the general public across Ukraine.<\/p><p><strong><em>Expected outcomes of the project:<\/em><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Development of project communication resources, including social media;<\/li><li>Design and delivery of educational courses;<\/li><li>Publication of textbooks, a monograph, and academic papers;<\/li><li>Organisation of round tables, conferences, and other academic events;<\/li><li>Participation in and organisation of outreach activities to promote the project and the EU\u2019s role in science, research, and innovation.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>This Jean Monnet Chair EU_STRENGHTS contributes to strengthening the EU
